Varieties 80 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 % Cabernet Franc and 10 % Merlot.
Origin Simonsberg - Stellenbosch
Climate A cool wet season with a long growing and ripening period, which resulted in the latest harvest in 10 years. An excellent vintage with red wines that has loads of fruit and a suppleness for drinking and also good potential.

Yield 5 Tons/ha – 3 200 litres/ha
Vinification 4-5 Days on the skins in open fermenters at 30 ºC. Punch cap by hand. After malolactic fermentation wines matured in 225 lit. French Nevers oak barrels for 24 months, 100 % new oak.
Product Description Full-bodied, deep red, complex fruit and oak flavours with a long aftertaste. A wine that will mature for at least 7-8 years in the bottle.
