Blended from Chenin Blanc and Muscat, Sonnet displays all the characteristics of healthy grapes picked at optimum ripeness. After crushing and destalking, 8 hours of refrigerated skin contact was allowed to maximise the extraction of flavours. Gentle pressing in a velo press was followed by clean settling and a controlled fermentation.
Wine Cellaring: Sonnet is designed to be consumed at an early age.
Tasting Notes: Sonnet has a brilliant straw colour. The attractive, fragrant, floral aroma is immediately appealing and the palate is well balanced and soft ensuring easy drinkability.
